“ This is a local restaurant that I have been going to for as long as I can remember. First, their Sunday BBQ is second to none in the area. Their weekday plate lunches are authentic, with local cooks and third they are my go to for crawfish during crawfish season. They have my favorite wild, fried catfish in the area. All around great place to eat. Dwight, the owner is always around taking care of customers and watching the food go out to his satisfaction. Outstanding staff, Mona you are the best! ”

“ We were in town for the voodoo hockey game so we looked online and found this place. The mushrooms and pork skins were amazing. The crawfish was pretty good but I wasn't a huge fan of the dusting and they were pretty hard to peel. Other than that, everything was fantastic, prices are very reasonable. We had pork skins, fried mushrooms and 3lbs of crawfish for 38. Service was amazing, everyone was friendly and atmosphere was nice. Was much bigger inside than we thought from looking at the front of the building. Definitely worth stopping in if you're in town. ”
“ One of the best places to get BBQ in Lafayette. We go here all the time. We have eaten the ribs, the sausage, and the chicken all were some of the best we have had in Lafayette. You get up to 4 sides in a dinner. All of the sides were good also. The best sides are bake beans, rice dressing, and green beans. I also stop in during the week for plate lunches that are also good ”
“ Today I visited for the very first time. I must say who you have at your front counter makes all the difference. The lady was so welcoming and helpful. We had the 1/2 Etoufee and 1/2 fried fish and the Etoufee potato it was amazing! My 8 yr old scrapped the plate clean and I’m an Etoufee lover and many people get it wrong but Dwight’s has it down packed! ”
“ Dwight’s is so solid! We went two times in one weekend. One for crawfish and one for their Sunday BBQ plates. Both times were EXCELLENT. Not many places still boil their crawfish but Dwight’s does. Their crawfish were big and affordable! 3lbs for 22! Can’t beat that price for the quality and flavor. And that Sunday BBQ is a classic lunch with consistent flavor. Thanks Dwight’s for great memories and flavors this weekend! ”
